PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THE 2024 (12/31/2023) RESIDENTIAL/COMMERCIAL/BUSINESS/PERSONAL PROPERTY TAX RATE HAS YET TO BE SET, AND WILL BE ESTABLISHED AFTER THE FINANCIAL TOWN MEETING SCHEDULED FOR TUESDAY, JUNE 11, 2024. WE KINDLY ASK THAT YOU REFRAIN FROM APPLYING THE CURRENT TAX RATE TO YOUR PROPOSED ASSESSMENT IN AN ATTEMPT TO ASCERTAIN YOUR TAX DOLLAR INCREASE.

THE TOWN OF EXETER'S 2023 (12/31/2022) RESIDENTIAL/COMMERCIAL/BUSINESS/PERSONAL PROPERTY TAX RATE = $14.27

As required by Rhode Island General Laws, the Town of Exeter and its consultant, Vision Government Solutions, have completed the Town’s reassessment program.

Any property owner wishing to have their new assessment reviewed, with a representative of
Vision Government Solutions, may schedule an appointment as follows:

Book your appointment by the April 8, 2024, deadline. Please keep in mind that the call center operators will be making
appointments only, and are not qualified to discuss values or data.

Informal Phone and in-person hearings will be held by appointment only.
In-person hearings will be conducted at the Exeter Public Library at 773 Ten Rod Road.

You may also review your new assessment data on Vision Government Solutions website: www.vgsi.com,
This website will allow inquiry access to the Assessor’s database, including value summary, building data, sales search, and general valuation
information.

Individuals who are unable to schedule a hearing may appeal to Vision Government Solutions
in writing by April 8, 2024. Letters should be sent c/o Tax Assessor, Town of Exeter, 675 Ten Rod Road,
Exeter, RI 02822.

THERE WILL BE NO MOTOR VEHICLE AND TRAILER EXCISE TAX BILLS BEGINNING FISCAL YEAR 2022-23.
